I'm not sure about this.  At the very least, we should remove them
after the compare stage of bootstrap-lean, but it seems that bootstrap
no longer compares.  This is definitely wrong.

Please defer the installation of this part of the patch until
`compare' is re-introduced, so that we can move it to the right place,
instead of simply removing it.
