I am unable to successfully complete an RTL checking bootstrap on
i686-pc-linux-gnu, "make compare" failures are present. This was
configured --enable-checking=misc,tree,rtl,gc.
For reference, this last worked for a sept 28 checkout as shown here:
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-testresults/2000-09/msg00286.html
But now I get:
> Bootstrap comparison failure!
> collect2.o differs
> cpplib.o differs
> gcc.o differs
> gcov.o differs
> genrecog.o differs
> haifa-sched.o differs
> jvspec.o differs
> mkdeps.o differs
> objc-act.o differs
> tradcpp.o differs
> ch/convert.o differs
> ch/expr.o differs
> cp/error.o differs
> cp/mangle.o differs
> f/lex.o differs
> f/symbol.o differs
> java/gjavah.o differs
> java/jcf-io.o differs
> java/jcf-path.o differs
> java/lang.o differs
> java/parse.o differs
There is no joy in bootstrap-ville these days. :-(
