Bruce, as I noticed that you're extremely responsive when it comes to
fixincl stuff :-) and this might be related...
If I compile the snippet
#include <time.h>
#include <iomanip>
#include <stdio.h>
int main() { }
with current GCC (g++) and the -ansi option, I get the following failure
on sparc-sun-solaris2.8:
/prefix/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solaris2.8/2.97/include/stdio.h:310: type
specifier omitted for parameter
/prefix/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solaris2.8/2.97/include/stdio.h:311:
syntax error before `(' token
If I omit *any* of these three include files or the -ansi option, the
problem goes away.
The two pre-processed file (with and without -ansi) are a bit too large
for this list, so I put them at http://www.dbai.tuwien.ac.at/~pfeifer/tmp/
together with /prefix/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solaris2.8/2.97/include/.
Obviously, I'm willing to send you anything else you might need or perform
tests!
Gerald
