Crash of compiler:
$ cat > tst.cc

template<char Tx> struct y { };
double test(const y< 128> *){return 0.0;}
$ c++ -c tst.cc
tst.cc:4: Internal compiler error in , at tree.c:4350

So I don't think this is platform-specific.
(I know, that code is bit wrong: char type with value 128, if I change
it to 127, all work as expected).
