egcs-20000523: ICE 19990828 compiling C++ source

I'm getting ICE 19990828 compiling C++ source (optimisation-O2) with recent
gcc-2.96 development versions. I'm including preprocessed source,
output of gcc (gcc -v ....) and stack trace when my_friendly_abort() were called
in attachment
