On i686-pc-linux-gnu:

When compiling the example *with* CASE DEFAULT using:

GNU F77 version 2.95.3 19991030 (prerelease) (i686-pc-linux-gnu)
compiled by GNU C version 2.95.3 19991030 (prerelease).
GNU Fortran Front End version 0.5.25 19991030 (prerelease)

I get a:

	g77: Internal compiler error: program f771 got fatal signal 11

When using:

GNU F77 version 2.96 20000315 (experimental) (i686-pc-linux-gnu)
compiled by GNU C version 2.96 20000315 (experimental).
GNU Fortran Front End version 0.5.25 20000315 (experimental)

it compiles just fine, so it seems the bug has been fixed.
