Was that a question? egcs has been superceded by gcc 2.95, after the
egcs and the gcc projects have merged. As a result, egcs development
has been stopped; all efforts go into improving gcc now. Of course,
all features of egcs are now in gcc as well (in fact, gcc 2.95 was
called egcs 1.2 shortly before the merger).
