Internal compiler error in `output_die', at dwarf2out.c:5426

Trying to compile Octave-2.0.16 with g++ on a SGI Octane running IRIX64
6.5.6f, I received an internal compiler error. The relevent source/ii
files are attached. The output is listed below.
