Thanks for your bug report. I've put it into GNATS. I could not
reproduce the ICE; instead, the compiler ran into a seemingly infinite
loop for me.

Yes, you can definitely help. Please run cc1plus in a debugger, and
try to analyse why it crashes. Then, fix the bug and send a patch to
gcc-patches@gcc.gnu.org. If you want to help in this way, but need
guidance in any of these steps, don't hesitate to ask at
gcc@gcc.gnu.org.
