Horst von Brand <vonbrand@sleipnir.valparaiso.cl> writes:

| Checked out a few minutes ago. i686-redhat-linux, linux-2.2.17pre10,
| binutils-2.10.0.9, gcc-2.95.3-0.20000517 (from Red Hat rawhide) for boostrap.
| It goes down in the first round with:
|
| /xgcc -B/usr/i686-redhat-linux/bin/ -B./ -isystem /usr/i686-redhat-linux/include -O2 -DIN_GCC -g -W -Wall -Wwrite-strings -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -Wno-long-long -isystem ./include -fPIC -g1 -DHAVE_GTHR_DEFAULT -DIN_LIBGCC2 -D__GCC_FLOAT_NOT_NEEDED -I. -I../../gcc/gcc -I../../gcc/gcc/config -I../../gcc/gcc/../include -DL_fixunsdfsi -c ../../gcc/gcc/libgcc2.c -o libgcc/./_fixunsdfsi.o
| ../../gcc/gcc/libgcc2.c: In function `__fixunsdfsi':
| ../../gcc/gcc/libgcc2.c:1002: Internal compiler error in `final', at final.c:2021

I'm seeing the same problem (cf my folloup-to Jan's message on the
same topic).

I was able to complete a full bootstrap by configuring with
--disable-checking (seems that checking is the default).
