Just --prefix=/tmp/BIN, and I am building with srcdir != objdir.

I'm wondering about the following in my config.cache file. Does the entry
for xgettext indicate a problem? (I have attached the full file as well.)

  ac_cv_path_GMSGFMT=${ac_cv_path_GMSGFMT=no}
  ac_cv_path_MSGFMT=${ac_cv_path_MSGFMT=no}
  ac_cv_path_XGETTEXT=${ac_cv_path_XGETTEXT=:}
  :
