Sir or Madam,
The "make bootstrap" procedure for gcc-2.95.2 on platform HP-UX B.10.20
A 9000/712
terminates prematurely with an error about a missing library,
libiberty.a, due to the
following statement that appears in the Makefile that is created by the
Configure script:
LIBS = $(OBSTACK) $(USE_ALLOCA) $(MALLOC) $(INTLLIBS) $(VFPRINTF)
$(DOPRINT) $(
CLIB) ../libiberty/libiberty.a
This library is not found in the libiberty directory that is created
when the distribution
file, gcc-2_95_2_tar.gz, is unpacked.
Regards,
Fred.
