gcc 2.95.2 error building linux/ppc on a linux/ppc host

A build of linux/ppc 64-bit (hosted on a 32-bit linux/ppc system, same
error with a 32-bit target, too) gives me an internal gcc error.  I've
attached the file process.i (compressed). 

The command line was in question was:

gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/sys/linuxppc_2_3/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -O2
-fomit-frame-pointer -fno-strict-aliasing -D__powerpc__ -fsigned-char
-msoft-float -pipe -fno-builtin -ffixed-r2 -Wno-uninitialized -mmultiple
-mstring -Wa,-mppc64bridge    -c -o process.o process.c

The info on the system:
