Hello!
This is not a bug report but more a remark. I have ftped the last snapshot
of gcc collection compiler because I thought g++ would run quicker than
2.95.2 since it has this new inliner included as I read.
I have compiled the whole gcc on my laptop (toshiba satellite
310CDT) running RH 6.1, recompile with itself whitout any warning. Then I
tried to compile my C++ code but it takes more resources (both time and
memory) than with the 2.95.2 rpm I use. Do you have any idea why?
Another question how to I build gcc with shared libraries?
Sincerely

Patrick Guio
