problem with egcs - take 2

Thanks again for your bug report. Even with the preprocessor output, I
could not reproduce it on either egcs 1.1.2, or gcc 2.95.2; I don't
have egcs 1.0.2 binaries, anymore. So if it is feasible, I recommend
to upgrade.
