Dear Sir
I am recompiling and installing gcc-2.95.2 .
The compilation seems to work perfectly.
I thought the installation was working too,
but in fact several compiled programs are
not being installed. These include flex and java.
Could you please tell me if there is a standard
script for installing them?
The description of the --enable-languages option
suggests that the default is to install them all.
I cannot see an option about installing other bits.
This is done with the standard scripts
configure
make
make install
using
make 3.77
gcc 2.95.2 (a copy already compiled on this machine)
on a PC with
Linux 2.2.13 (SuSE 6.3)
Intel Celeron 466 MHz cpu
128 Mbytes RAM
5 Gbytes of free disk space in the current partition
The output of config.guess is
i686-pc-linux-gnu
Thanks for gcc.
