Thanks for your bug report. This is not a bug in the compiler, but in
your code. In C++, a template member that is instantiated must be
defined at the point of instantiation, a mere declaration is not
sufficient. As a result, you must put all template definitions into
List.h.

If you question this analyis, please discuss it in one of the public
C++ fora first, eg. comp.lang.c++.moderated, or comp.std.c++.
