GCC version 2.8.1

Hi,

I'm using GCC version 2.8.1 on an HP-UX 10.20 workstation and
I'm currently installing MICO 2.3.1 ( a CORBA orb product) on it.

While it is compiling, it gives an error message " virtual memory
exhausted" and exits. Even if I tried to increase the available virtual
memory it exits with the same error.

This is part of the error I get.

-I/usr/local/include  -fexceptions -c address.cc -o address.o
c++  -I../include -ftemplate-depth-42  -fno-exceptions - I/usr/local/include  -fexceptions -c ior.cc -o ior.o
c++  -I../include -ftemplate-depth-42  -fno-exceptions - I/usr/local/include  -fexceptions -c orb.cc -o orb.o
orb.cc: In method `class CORBA::BOA *  CORBA::ORB::BOA_init(int &, char **, const char * = "")':
orb.cc:1039: virtual memory exhausted
gmake[1]: *** [orb.o] Error 1

Please suggest me a work-around to this prob. as I'm desperate in
this venture.

Thanks in advance.
Dimuth.
