Please keep in mind I do not understand what this means and a long
explanation is not going to make sense. What I am looking for is a work
around for this error. I am trying to ./configure and make on Digital Unix
4.0.E with GCC 2.95.1 the ddd-3.2.1 and I got this same error on ddd-3.2.

How can I run either ./configure or make that it will get past this error?
