You did not explain what exactly the error was that you got, but I
guess it was
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lg++
If so, there is an easy solution: Remove -lg++ from the makefile, and
it will link.
libg++ is an old and rarely-needed library, which is not included in
egcs or gcc 2.95 anymore. Unless you really need it (and you know
exactly *why* you need it), I suggest to forget about it.
