GCC produces slightly different code in differnt machines

Hi:

I have two identical installations of the GNU compiler on two
different machines. The two machines produce slightly different
op codes under identical options. This is very rare but does happen.
Although it is not fatal, this could throw a lot of people off if machines
change.

I have attached the following as an example:

(1) MAIN1.LST - Listing of "MAIN.C" produced by a Pentium 400MHz
 64MB desktop system.

(2) MAIN2.LST - Listing of "MAIN.C" produced by a Pentium 233MHz
96MB notebook.

If you examine the opcodes produced for the function call "ShiftToIram()"
in line #s 152 and 153, they are different.

This compiler, however, is an extremely impressive product and I wish
to thank all the programmers for the amazing job they have done.
