crash of egcs snaphost 19991013 (linux-Intel -> rtems-ppc)

In my desesperate attempt to find a new PPC compiler that works for rtems
(I have egcs 1.1.2 working but as I have a 750 I would like to use
the -mcpu=750) I found another bug :-) I know theses are snapshots
I do not complain just be sure they will not reincarn in the next
release
