Compilation problem

gcc version - 2.95.1
Solaris 2.6, 2,5,1
Options passed - none
Linker used - gld (gnu linker)


gcc qcollection.cpp - produces the following error

/users/rad/gcc-2.95/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solaris2.6/2.95.1/libgc.a:
could not read symbols: Bad value
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Can u please clarify why this happens?

/users/rad/gcc-2.95
