Hello Toon and others,
please disregard my previous message. Having recompiled glibc-2.1.2 with
pgcc-2.95.2, I started having troubles, amongst others :-(, with the math
library functions. Funny symptom : abs(-1) giving -1 !
Switching back to plain gcc-2.95.2 and recompiling glibc cured the whole
problems. Case solved.
