Yup, this is a well-known bug, see http://egcs.cygnus.com/bugs.html

BTW, I see you're submitting several bug reports against old egcs
releases.  From this, I understand you're willing to cooperate with
the project.  If this is the case, please try to always use the latest
release of gcc (currently, 2.95.2) for your bug reports, or, even
better, the latest development snapshot or the state of the CVS tree.
Assuming you have the extra disk space and CPU cycles to keep those
additional versions installed, of course :-)
