gcc2.95.2: internal compiler error for class typedef

The simple test cgtest.ii, shown below, causes gcc2.95.2 to fail with an
internal compiler error in line 4. Changing line 4 to be:
typedef class liveMap *liveMap_p;
makes the error go away.
