Indeed.  The current `complex' implementation is far from complete.
You may want to contribute some code to the libstdc++ project so as to 
implement it :-)

libstdc++ is currently being rewritten to be ISO-C++-Compliant.  Check 
http://sourceware.cygnus.com/libstdc++/ for details.  You may even
find out the feature you need is already implemented!
