Compilation using egcs-2.90.93 on Redhat Linux PII

Uhm, what reason do have to replace the RH6.0 C compiler (egcs-1.1.2 aka 
egcs-2.91.66) with the much older egcs-1.0.2 (aka egcs-2.90.29)? I would 
strongly guess you have messed up your system that way.
