The patchlet installed fine, without an offset. Unfortunately, it did not
fix the problem, the compiler message is just the same as before.
When checking that I truely really testet the patched compiler, I made a
strange observation: In spite of the additional code, the file size of
com.o stays exactly the same as before the patch.
I even did a complete new bootstrap, still same file size and compiler
message.
Am I doing something wrong? Or is the additional code optimized away?
(there are no warnings about unreachable code, though)
