Assembler error (third submittal)

Thanks for your bug report. When I compile your code with
egcs-2.93.11, no error is reported. It appears that the bug is fixed,
but the patch fix was not back-ported to 1.1.2. If this is important
for you, you could try to use a development snapshot.
