I'm sorry to ask this _OFFTOPIC_ question but I don't know where else to go(and I've seen this message here):

Does anybody knows what happened to glibc-2.1? Last news I have heard was about some political issues(something related to sleepycat software and their db-2).

Please answer this personally to not waste time and bandwith.
