I applied your patch, and could build the library with it and with
-fnew-abi -fno-honor-std.

I could even build the 27hello demo, and my own test of the sizes of
mixin classes (using virtual inheritance of dataless base classes):

% export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/home/marc/H-libstdc++/lib
% ./foo
 sizeof(A): 4, sizeof(B): 4, sizeof(C): 4
 sizeof(Ab): 12, sizeof(ABb): 20, sizeof(ABCb): 28
 sizeof(AB): 8, sizeof(AC): 8, sizeof(BC): 20
 sizeof(D): 4

No progress has yet happened on this battlefront, as it seems.
