egcs 1.1.2 bug with templates and typedefs

When I do:

     /usr/local/bin/g++ -c foo.C

where foo.C looks like this:

     template < class T >
     class Base 
     {
       public:
       typedef int base_typedef;
     };

     template < class T >
     class Derived : public Base < T > 
     {
       public:
       class InternalClass
       {
         InternalClass ( base_typedef x );
       };
     };

     int main ()
     {
       return 0;
     }

I get this:

     g++: Internal compiler error: program cc1plus got fatal signal 11
