bug with egs 1.1.1 release

The attached zip file contains:

command: a gcc command that produces "Internal compiler error 980711".
Options used are "-v --save-temps"

output: the output of the command

y.cc: the source file that wouldn't compile

y.ii: produced by gcc

y.s: produced by gcc, it has a string in there "bad alloc", don't know if
that's significant.

I previously had this error with an older egcs, so I got egcs-1.1.1.tar.gz
from
ftp://egcs.cygnus.com/pub/egcs/releases/index.html , I ran "configure" with
no arguments, "make bootstrap" and "make install".
