The above tests fail in compilation with many errors of the following type:

compiler exited with status 1
output is:
/usr/tmp/ccCThaaa.s: Assembler messages:^M
/usr/tmp/ccCThaaa.s:4305: Error: operation combines symbols in different segment
s^M
/usr/tmp/ccCThaaa.s:4307: Error: operation combines symbols in different segment
s^M
...

The libg++ tFile test fails in execution due to a bus error in t3.
