I have just downloaded the 19990623 snapshot of egcs and have found
a bug that has returned. I reported this bug a while back, and it
was specific to the SH target. Looking at gcc/config/sh I noticed
that the times and size of some of the files have changed:
hpiw0411:/usr/src/egcs-19990623/gcc/config/sh# ll -rt
total 392
-rw-r--r-- 1 220 1002 935 Dec 17 1998 t-sh
-rw-r--r-- 1 220 1002 1390 Dec 17 1998 xm-sh.h
-rw-r--r-- 1 220 1002 3966 Jan 18 14:14 elf.h
-rw-r--r-- 1 220 1002 21588 Jan 18 14:26 lib1funcs.asm
-rw-r--r-- 1 220 1002 1195 Jan 20 16:12 rtems.h
-rw-r--r-- 1 220 1002 1180 Jan 20 17:56 rtemself.h
-rw-r--r-- 1 220 1002 82109 Mar 5 22:28 sh.h
-rw-r--r-- 1 220 1002 131588 Mar 10 22:07 sh.c
-rw-r--r-- 1 220 1002 148438 Apr 27 22:23 sh.md
Compare this with the previous snapshot:
hpiw0411:/usr/src/egcs-19990615/gcc/config/sh# ll -rt
total 392
-rw-r--r-- 1 220 1002 935 Dec 17 1998 t-sh
-rw-r--r-- 1 220 1002 1390 Dec 17 1998 xm-sh.h
-rw-r--r-- 1 220 1002 3966 Jan 18 14:14 elf.h
-rw-r--r-- 1 220 1002 21588 Jan 18 14:26 lib1funcs.asm
-rw-r--r-- 1 220 1002 1195 Jan 20 16:12 rtems.h
-rw-r--r-- 1 220 1002 1180 Jan 20 17:56 rtemself.h
-rw-r--r-- 1 220 1002 131284 Jun 4 07:48 sh.c
-rw-r--r-- 1 220 1002 82514 Jun 10 21:25 sh.h
-rw-r--r-- 1 220 1002 148123 Jun 10 21:25 sh.md
It looks as though version control has attacked and rolled back the
changes for sh.c, sh.h and sh.md
