I've just realized that things I've tried to post to the egcs list have gone into a black hole. Somehow I managed to resurrect some old Gnus configuration with the list name as `egcs@cygnus.com'. Clearly stuff sent there just disappears. I think it should at least bounce. Would bug reports have gone the same way?
