Internal compiler error

When trying to compile the attached file (bug.cpp) I get the
message:
bug.cpp:16: Internal compiler error.
bug.cpp:16: Please submit a full bug report to `egcs-bugs@cygnus.com'.

The version of egcs I am using is:
GNU CPP version egcs-2.91.57 19980901 (egcs-1.1 release) (i386 Linux/ELF)
