Reading specs from /net/validator/export/set/validator7/gcc/egcs111/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solaris2.5.1/egcs-2.91.60/specs
gcc version egcs-2.91.60 19981201 (egcs-1.1.1 release)


The following source code takes pathologically long times to compile:
e.g. 6 seconds at -O0, 10 minutes at -O1, 20 minutes at -O2,
and 2 hours at -O3 with all
other optimizations enabled.   That's not necessarily a bug, but it may
be worth investigating.
