g++ bug

Hello,
I'm getting the following copiling error when compiling
Octave-2.0.14
on an
SGI
running IRIX 6.5.5 with
gcc-g++.2.95.2
make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/data1/ShareWare/GNU/octave-2.0.14/src'
c++ -c -I. -I.. -I../liboctave -I../src -I../libcruft/misc -I../glob

sighandlers.cc:631: Internal compiler error in `output_die', at
dwarf2out.c:5426

There were no other errors up to this point....
btw
gcc-g++ compiled without error.
Any hints?
