Maybe submit a *full* bug report? :-)
You didn't tell us which version of egcs you're using, on which
platform it's running, which compiler flags you used, etc, as
requested in http://egcs.cygnus.com/faq.html#bugreport
I know you're not using the latest release (1.1.2), because you don't
get the FAQ URL as an error message. I could reproduce the bug in
release 1.0.3, which is pretty old, but it's fixed since release 1.1.
It says:
t.cc: In method `B::B()':
t.cc:9: pointer-to-member function B::a->A::func cannot be called
t.cc:9: without an object; consider using .* or ->*
