gcc --print-prog-name under Cygwin32

I'm planning on submitting the patch to change all pathnames to POSIX
style for Cygwin, but there are a few remaining issues (some bugs in
the Cygwin runtime that I'll have to work around). Chris Faylor and
I are still working through the issues, but we're hopeful that this 
change will be in egcs-1.2.

btw, my egcs-1.1.2 distribution for Cygwin does not use backspaces.
