fixincludes leaving lots of /bin/sh procs around

I noticed that in recent egcs cvs snapshots, the fixincludes
process is leaving a bunch of /bin/sh procs running with parent
pid==1. I *think* they eventually go away, but I'm not sure.
Here are the turds on alpha-OSF4, but I think its not specific
to this platform. Sorry I don't have any more info at the moment.
