alphaev5-dec-osf4.0b new bootstrap failure in libiberty/fnmatch.c

When I bootstrap recent egcs checkouts (e.g. egcs-2.93.19 19990420)
on alphaev5-dec-osf4.0b, I get an error when it multilib builds libiberty
after the 3-stage bootstrap.
