	When I build the latest snapshot (egcs-2.93.18 19990413) on
either AIX4 or SunOS4, I get an the following error building
multilibbed libstdc++:

 > make[4]: Entering directory `/a/caip/a47/u47/ghazi/gcc-testing/aix-test/egcs-CVS19990413/powerpc-ibm-aix4.1.4.0/power/libstdc++'
 > Makefile:81: *** target pattern contains no `%'.  Stop.

Examining Makefile line 81, shows:

 > # Warning: this fragment is automatically generated
 > /caip/u47/ghazi/gcc-testing/aix-test/egcs-CVS19990413/configure[755]:
 > 	./../libio/config.shared: not found.

The libio directory did not exist in the "power" multilib subdir. So
that's why the above error message appeared in the Makefile fragment.

    The above failure was on AIX4, I get the same thing I SunOS4. I
suspect it is something exposed by the complex multilibs on these
platforms.
