internal compiler error building iostream.cc

When compiling the latest egcs sources on OpenBSD 2.5, I have been
getting the following internal compiler error for the past few days:

/home/ex0/dm/egcs/openbsd/gcc/xgcc -B/home/ex0/dm/egcs/openbsd/gcc/ -B/usr/local/egcs/i386-unknown-openbsd2.5/bin/ -c -g -O2 -fno-implicit-templates -I. -I../../../egcs/libio -nostdinc++  ../../../egcs/libio/iostream.cc
