Hi!
* I compiled your latest release og egcs (1.1b) using HP's aCC
(HP-UX 10.20) using "--with-gnu-as --prefix=/users2/local --enable-shared"
I had gas 2.9 and gcc-2.8.1 installed previously, but was not satisfied with
gcc's performance, therefore I had a try with egcs.
(I've overridden gcc with cc for the botstrapping of egcs !)
* Build (make bootstrap) went fine, so did make install.
* I'm able to work with it as root, but when compiling ANY code as a non-root
user I get:
as: "/var/tmp/ccqKtFCF.s", line 57: error 1052: Directive name not recognized - NSUBSPA
"as --version" gives me:
GNU assembler 2.9
Copyright 1997 Free Software Foundation, Inc.

This assembler was configured for a target of `hppa1.1-hp-hpux10.20'.
and "which as" returns: /users2/local/bin/as (so it's the correct as for
the chosen prefix)
Any idea ?
2nd: gdb-4.17 creates it's own libiberty -- doesn't that collide with the one
egcs created ?
