egcs-1.1/ld-2.9.1 bug loading shared objects on axp under Linux

I think it's a bug in ld; I can't reproduce the problem with binutils
2.9.1 on the same platform (not 2.9.1.0.4, the one you're using).
H.J.Lu, any chance that 2.9.1.0.4 has broken this?
