egcs-1.1 c++-bug

Hi!
egcs gets an internal compiler error on my i686-pc-linux-gnulibc1 linux
machine.
I' ve installed the egcs-1.1b release.

> c++ -c t.cc
gcc: Internal compiler error: program cc1plus got fatal signal 11

If the code isn't valid, it should complain about it instead of die. I
tracked down the source as far as possible to provide a useful example.
