(Newly introduced) Internal compiler error in 1.1a (eg++)

Version used:
	"gcc version egcs-2.91.57 19980901 (egcs-1.1 release)"
System:
	FreeBSD 2.2.7-STABLE (i386) from Sun Sep  6 18:15:06 CEST 1998 (aout).

The egcs compiler was taken from the FreeBSD's ports system, which contains
a patch to the sources which has been attached to this mail.

The FreeBSD ports system configures with the following args:
"--with-gnu-as --with-gnu-ld i386-unknown-freebsd --with-gxx-include-dir=/usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/i386-unknown-freebsd/egcs-2.91.57/include/g++"

Replacing a previous (working) snapshot `egcs-19980715' with this release
introduced this new internal error.
